Earth Day commemoration was born out of the world\u2019s largest environment conservation movement. It is
\nan annual global event, observed on April 22 of every year. This day celebrates and commemorates the
\nenvironmental movement and raises awareness about degradation and ways to maintain a clean habitat. It
\nwas first celebrated in 1970 when Senator Gaylord Nelson sought to bring the global environmental
\ncondition onto the US national agenda<\/p>\n
