What we have achieved so far:
- Increased knowledge of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene practices among 894,367 individuals in more than 20 districts of Uganda (626,037 women and 268,330 men).
- Increased access to safe and clean drinking water to over 654, 284 people in both the rural and urban communities.
- Increased access to sanitation facilities to 392,561 people in both institutions and communities in over 20 districts of the country.
- A functional conflict resolution mechanism powered by the trained and equipped 600 peace ambassadors in the Teso and Karamoja regions has resolved over 566 conflicts out of 794 that have been registered since 2012. 228 of these have been referred to government offices, line ministries, and NGOs.
- Improved life skills and incomes for over 247,230 youths and women entrepreneurs through green jobs such as briquette making, liquid soap making, and preparation of organic manure.
- Increased awareness of climatic change mitigation and adaptation practices as well as drought mitigation among 519,048 people in the Karamoja and Teso regions.
