We are a community based non-governmental organisation, who’s mission is to offer quality sustainable services to the poor, disadvantaged and marginalized communities in Uganda.

 In the last year CIDI’ s has realized many achievements to develop the living conditions of our beneficiaries in rural and urban area’s. Whether with our well-known WASH programme in schools and communities in Kampala and in the North East, or with our effective agriculture programme in Soroti, Amuria or Rakai, where we could support many farmers, establish and strengthen associations.

  Our health programme has implemented many important projects to reduce HIV infections and child mortality in poor areas.  Our engaged Advocacy team has been educating and training community members to demand for better services and to take responsibilities for their living environment.
