OPEN CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO SUPPLY GOODS AND SERVICES TO CIDI
Community Integrated Development Initiatives – CIDI is a nationally registered NGO that currently operates in 25 districts of Uganda. CIDI has been operating in Uganda since 1996, and has head offices located on plot 2809 Tank Hill Road Muyenga, Kampala. CIDI also has branch offices in Rakai, Masaka, Rubirizi, Isingiro, Buliisa, Nakasongola, Luwero, Kayunga, Soroti, Amuria, Katakwi, Napak and Kampala. CIDI implements an integrated development program focused onto the thematic areas of; Agriculture, Water Sanitation and Hygiene-WASH, Health, and Advocacy. For the year 2018, CIDI is seeking to receive profiles of, evaluate and Prequalify new services providers that would be willing to extend services to CIDI for the coming 3 years. Service providers in the following areas are therefore called upon to express interest;
1. Stationeries and printing services.
2. Agro inputs supply services.
3. Computers and electronics services.
4. Insurance services (Motor , Health and workman’s compensation)
5. Borehole drilling and maintenance services.
6. Catering services.
7. Motor vehicle repairs and maintenance services.
8. Building contractors.
9. Media services.
10. Hotel and conference services.
11. Security services.
12. Internet services.
13. Car washing services
14. Fumigation services.
15. General supplies.
16. Food and relief services.
17. Compound maintenance services.
18. Motor vehicles, motorcycles and Bicycles.
Interested suppliers are required to submit company profiles demonstrating the following aspects;
Registration status, financial stability , supplier location, history of supplies ,Credit Period offered, Scope of supplies /services, compliance with all statutory obligation, key Contact person(s),and statement indicating that the company has never engaged in any illegal activities.
Interested suppliers can submit their company profiles and expressions of interest to supply CIDI services to CIDI at head offices located on plot 2809 Tank Hill Road Muyenga by the date of 28th February 2018 and addressed to the Procurement Committee, Community Integrated Development Initiatives-CIDI.
Selected suppliers will later on be invited for a supplier appraisal exercise.
NOTE: No fee or payment is required to participate in this Exercise.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
To provide business leadership and coordination of the Credit Department and the Cesspool Trucks in order to optimize income generation and business development. Moreover, you will act as an active team member and actively promote the company culture and values. In return, you will gain valuable experience in long-term strategy planning and execution, negotiation, and play a pivotal role in setting the future direction of CIDI Business venture.
•Directly manage and sell to a wide range of customers within the right scope of CIDI service portfolio in that given location and others as deem fit.
•Act as the single and main contact for all accounts assigned to the portfolio, in respect to commercial activities of CIDI.
•Build and maintain relationships with as many key contacts/decision makers as possible and inside customers in the organization and enhance a long-lasting business partnership
•Include key CIDI personnel into the relationship to ensure that relationships run as deep as possible into both organizations
•Understand and translate the local needs of the Customers and share and engage within the CIDI organization
•Promote CIDI in the market place
•Be the “voice” of the customer identifying issues and addressing them throughout the organization in a proactive manner.
Together with the management team develop a marketing strategy and plan for CIDI.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
· Results oriented and concerns for program impact.
· Effective leadership, organizational, planning and communication skills.
· In possession of a valid driving permit.
